Prasad C V G, is an IT professional with 30+ years of Techno-banking experience most of them being with technology firms servicing Banks. He has a Bachelor of Technology (Electronics and Communications) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India. He has associated himself with the change in banking technology across the globe.He has deep Passion to nurture people around him.

Started his career as a Software Engineer and was part of application software group in developing core banking software. He was instrumental in roll out of major projects of Bull SAS (France) across its subsidiaries in European Countries. He held various Executive management roles in ANZIT (100% owned subsidiary of ANZ Group) heading software development groups for various business units.

He had a successful stint while heading commercial start-up venture that was part of ANZ IT subsidiary in India and commercialized two of the Banking software products. His last stint was as the CIO of ING Vysya Bank (Now Kotak) and was instrumental in transforming the Bank’s IT set-up from an old generation support function to a dynamic modern IT set-up.

He is the Founder of ‘AmudIT’, AmudIT Info Systems, a young start-up focusing on High-end domain intensive Techno-banking services in BFSI domain. He is also holding independent directorship on the Board of “Happy Visitor Private Limited’, a software product company based in Bangalore.

Krishna Prasad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Law. With an MBA, he is a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and PG Diploma holder in Bank Management (National institute of bank management, Pune, India).His areas of interest include Bank Management, Lending &Credit Risk, Capital Markets & Equity research and Strategy & leadership support.

With over 33 years of experience in banking spanning across, Retail, Commercial, Corporate Banking and Risk Management, he comes with a lot of expertise in Branch Management, Planning, Development and Strategy, Credit & Risk Management and Training. He has been associated with the Union Bank of India, ING Vysya Bank and HSBC.He was instrumental in setting up the offshore teams for Credit Risk Assessment and KYC due diligence function for Global Banking and markets(GBM) division of HSBC.

This team was responsible for more than 40% of GBM’s portfolio of credit across 10 markets globally. He was a member of the senior management group in the offshore entity. His last assignment was as a Senior Vice President, Global Banking and Markets, HSBC.He is currently a member of the Board of Directors at Luminance Global Fund placed in Singapore.
